As NILMDTS Ireland is under the umbrella of the international NILMDTS charity, initial sign up and training will be on our American Website.
Visit the website here and click on ‘Submit application’
(Please note that in Ireland the majority of sessions do allow the use of natural light photography. It is necessary to be able to utilise basic flash skills in case of certain environments but it is not necessary to be advanced with lighting skills. Our photographers are a mix of professional and skilled amatuer photographers)
When it asks you for a sign up fee please be aware that this is not required for volunteers based in Ireland. Please use the code IRELAND to remove this fee.
The NILMDTS Volunteer Application Committee will review your application within 2-4 weeks of submission. (You may be asked for additional images as part of this process)

From expression of interest in joining us and throughout your training you will be in touch with our Irish volunteer onboarding team. Please contact us at any time through our website or call our photography volunteer co-ordinator Cathy on 087 7453884 directly with any questions or issues.
Once online training is completed you will be assigned a buddy of an experienced volunteer photographer. This buddy will be an additional contact with you for support, and if preferred shadowing, on your initial sessions, to review and feedback on images and to support in any way they can. You will also be asked at this stage if you are ready to go live on the system so that you can be contacted if a session is required in your area.
We will also organise your ID badge, business cards etc.
